Description
A simple cabbage transforms into a crispy, golden, and deeply flavorful side dish with just a few ingredients and the magic of an air fryer. Tender on the inside and crispy on the edges, it's a healthy and easy addition to any meal.
Ingredients
1 head of cabbage, cut into wedges
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375 °F (190 °C).
- In a large bowl, toss the cabbage wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange the wedges in a single layer in the air-fryer basket. Work in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.
- Air-fry the cabbage for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even crisping.
- Remove when golden brown and crispy on the edges. Serve warm.
Notes
Sprinkle with smoked paprika or chili flakes for a spicy twist.
Add lemon juice or balsamic glaze before serving for tanginess.
Dust with nutritional yeast or Parmesan after frying for a cheesy version.
Garnish with chopped parsley or dill for freshness.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer.
