Description

Juicy, golden chicken tenderloins marinated in a zesty honey-lime sauce and air-fried for a healthier twist on Cracker Barrel’s classic dish. Quick, flavorful, and perfect for a weeknight meal.


Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs chicken tenderloins

1/4 cup Italian dressing

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (or lemon juice)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Whisk together Italian dressing, honey, lime juice, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  2. Add chicken tenderloins to the marinade, toss to coat evenly, and marinate for at least 30 minutes (preferably overnight).
  3. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  4. Arrange marinated tenderloins in a single layer in the air fryer basket, cooking in batches if needed.
  5. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
