Description
Crispy, golden, and gooey on the inside, these air-fried ravioli are a perfect snack or appetizer that’s incredibly easy to make.
Ingredients
1 package of frozen ravioli (about 12 oz)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg, beaten
Marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each ravioli into the beaten egg, ensuring it’s fully coated, then dredge it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick.
- Place the breaded ravioli in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding. If necessary, do this in batches.
- Air fry the ravioli for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
To avoid the ravioli sticking, lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or use air fryer-safe parchment paper.
Frozen ravioli holds up better than fresh ravioli for this recipe, but fresh can also be used with careful handling.
For best results, serve immediately to maintain the crispy texture.
