Description

A cozy and creamy Apple Pie Smoothie that blends fresh apple, banana, oats, Greek yogurt, and warm spices for a nourishing breakfast or snack that tastes like dessert in a glass.


Ingredients

1 large apple, cored and chopped (peel on)

1/2 frozen banana

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt)

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)

1/4 cup rolled oats

1 tablespoon almond butter (or peanut butter)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

12 teaspoons maple syrup or honey (optional, to taste)

1/2 cup ice cubes


Instructions

  1. Add the chopped apple, frozen banana, Greek yogurt, and almond milk to a high-speed blender.
  2. Add the rolled oats, almond butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add maple syrup or honey if additional sweetness is desired.
  4. Add the ice cubes for a thicker texture.
  5. Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or spices if needed. Pour into a glass, sprinkle with cinnamon if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, use plant-based yogurt.

Swap almond butter with peanut or cashew butter for a different flavor profile.

Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder for extra protein.

Freeze apple chunks instead of using ice for a thicker texture.

Store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours and shake or re-blend before serving.
