Description
These baked hamburgers with garlic butter are juicy, flavorful, and easy to make in the oven. The garlic butter adds a rich, savory touch to perfectly seasoned patties and toasted buns, making them ideal for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.
Ingredients
1 ½ pounds ground beef (80/20)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
4 hamburger buns
4 slices of cheese (optional)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 clove garlic, minced
Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayo
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Avoid overmixing.
- Divide the meat into 4 equal portions and shape into patties slightly larger than the buns. Press a small dent in the center of each patty.
- Place patties on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18–20 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Meanwhile, mix the melted butter with minced garlic in a small bowl.
- In the last 2 minutes of baking, add a slice of cheese to each patty if using, and return to oven to melt.
- Toast the buns if desired, then brush the insides with garlic butter.
- Assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings and serve hot.
Notes
Use different cheeses like pepper jack or Swiss for a twist.
Add a tablespoon of mayo to the meat for extra richness.
Make sliders with 8 small patties and slider buns.
Add jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicy version.
Wrap in lettuce instead of buns for a low-carb option.
