Description

These baked hamburgers with garlic butter are juicy, flavorful, and easy to make in the oven. The garlic butter adds a rich, savory touch to perfectly seasoned patties and toasted buns, making them ideal for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

1 ½ pounds ground beef (80/20)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

4 hamburger buns

4 slices of cheese (optional)

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 clove garlic, minced

Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayo

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Avoid overmixing.
  3. Divide the meat into 4 equal portions and shape into patties slightly larger than the buns. Press a small dent in the center of each patty.
  4. Place patties on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18–20 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  5. Meanwhile, mix the melted butter with minced garlic in a small bowl.
  6. In the last 2 minutes of baking, add a slice of cheese to each patty if using, and return to oven to melt.
  7. Toast the buns if desired, then brush the insides with garlic butter.
  8. Assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings and serve hot.

Notes

Use different cheeses like pepper jack or Swiss for a twist.

Add a tablespoon of mayo to the meat for extra richness.

Make sliders with 8 small patties and slider buns.

Add jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicy version.

Wrap in lettuce instead of buns for a low-carb option.
