Ingredients
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
3 oz cooking oil
2 large eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 1/4 cups chocolate chips (divided)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the oil, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and pumpkin puree. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined. Scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula.
- Lightly spray the bottom and sides of an 8" x 4" x 3" loaf pan with oil. Pour the batter into the pan and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool before slicing and serving.
