Description

Crispy French fries topped with spicy buffalo chicken, melty cheddar cheese, tangy blue cheese, and drizzled with creamy ranch—perfect for game day or any comfort food craving.

Ingredients

1 bag (28 oz) frozen French fries

2 cups cooked shredded chicken

1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce

1 tablespoon butter, melted

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)

1/4 cup ranch dressing (plus more for serving)

2 green onions, sliced

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the directions on the frozen French fries package.
  2. Spread fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake until crispy and golden brown.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix shredded chicken with buffalo wing sauce and melted butter until well coated.
  4. Once fries are done, push them close together on the baking sheet to create a solid base.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the fries.
  6. Spoon the buffalo chicken mixture evenly on top of the cheese-covered fries.
  7. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 5–7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Drizzle ranch dressing over the top of the loaded fries.
  9. Garnish with sliced green onions, crumbled blue cheese (if using), and chopped parsley.
  10. Serve immediately with additional ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side.

Notes

For a spicier version, top with sliced jalapeños or a few dashes of hot sauce.

Swap cheddar with pepper jack or mozzarella for a different flavor.

Use buffalo cauliflower instead of chicken for a vegetarian alternative.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Reheat in a 375°F oven for about 10 minutes to retain crispiness.
