Description

A sweet, creamy no-bake dessert made with fluffy vanilla pudding, crisp apples, marshmallows, pineapple, pecans, and swirls of rich caramel sauce—perfect for potlucks and holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 cup cold milk

1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed

3 medium apples, chopped (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)

1 cup mini marshmallows

1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained

1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

1/2 cup caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until smooth and slightly thickened.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the chopped apples, mini marshmallows, crushed pineapple, and pecans (if using) until evenly distributed.
  4. Drizzle in the caramel sauce and lightly fold to create ribbons of caramel throughout the mixture.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld and the texture to set.
  6. Before serving, drizzle with additional caramel sauce and garnish with extra apple pieces or pecans if desired.

Notes

Toss apples with a small amount of lemon juice to prevent browning.

Can be made up to 1 day in advance; add final caramel drizzle before serving.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

For a nut-free version, omit pecans.
