Ingredients
1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup cold milk
1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed
3 medium apples, chopped (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
1 cup mini marshmallows
1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1/2 cup caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined and fluffy.
- Stir in the chopped apples, mini marshmallows, crushed pineapple, and pecans (if using) until evenly distributed.
- Drizzle in the caramel sauce and lightly fold to create ribbons of caramel throughout the mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld and the texture to set.
- Before serving, drizzle with additional caramel sauce and garnish with extra apple pieces or pecans if desired.
Notes
Toss apples with a small amount of lemon juice to prevent browning.
Can be made up to 1 day in advance; add final caramel drizzle before serving.

For a nut-free version, omit pecans.
