Description

Fresh asparagus spears baked under a layer of creamy, melted mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, infused with garlic and a touch of cream. This rich and savory side dish is easy to make and brings a restaurant-quality touch to any meal.


Ingredients

2 pounds asparagus, stalks trimmed​

3/4 cup heavy cream​

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange the trimmed asparagus in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. Pour the heavy cream evenly over the asparagus.
  4. Sprinkle minced garlic, salt, and black pepper on top.
  5. Layer Parmesan and mozzarella cheese evenly. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
