Description

These Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls are a perfect combination of creamy, savory filling and flaky, buttery dough. They're quick to prepare and make a comforting meal for any occasion.

Ingredients

2 8 oz cans Pillsbury crescent roll dough

2 cans cream of chicken soup

8 oz package cream cheese, softened

2-3 cups shredded cooked chicken

1 package Italian dressing mix (or 3 tablespoons)

2-3 green onions, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a medium pot over medium heat, combine the softened cream cheese and both cans of cream of chicken soup. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  3. Add the Italian dressing mix and stir until fully blended. Lower the heat and keep the mixture warm.
  4. Transfer most of the creamy mixture into a large bowl, leaving some aside to serve later. Add the shredded chicken and chopped green onions (if using). Stir everything together until evenly mixed and set aside.
  5. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a baking sheet and separate the dough into individual triangles.
  6. Spoon a generous portion of the chicken mixture onto each crescent roll triangle. Starting from the wide end, roll the dough up around the filling.
  7. Place the filled crescent rolls in the preheated oven and bake for 9-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm, optionally drizzling the remaining creamy gravy over the top.

Notes

For added flavor, mix in chopped spinach or bell peppers.

For a cheesy twist, sprinkle shredded cheese over the chicken mixture before rolling.

You can use shredded turkey or ground beef instead of chicken.

If you like some heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or hot sauce.

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Reheat the rolls in a preheated oven at 350°F for 5-7 minutes or use a microwave for quicker reheating.
