Description

A cozy and satisfying Chicken Stuffing Bake featuring tender chicken breasts baked with a creamy sauce and topped with golden stuffing. Perfect for a comforting, no-fuss dinner.


Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a single layer in the dish and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth until smooth. Spread over chicken.
  4. Prepare stuffing mix according to package instructions and spoon over the chicken and sauce.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the stuffing.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15–20 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and stuffing is golden.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken to reduce bake time.

Try cream of mushroom soup for a flavor variation.

Add chopped celery or onion to stuffing for extra texture.

Top with shredded cheese for a cheesy version.
