Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Place chicken breasts in a single layer in the dish and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- In a medium bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth until smooth. Spread over chicken.
- Prepare stuffing mix according to package instructions and spoon over the chicken and sauce.
- Drizzle melted butter over the stuffing.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15–20 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and stuffing is golden.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken to reduce bake time.
