Description

Soft, pillowy bites of cinnamon rolls transformed into golden, crispy French toast—coated in cinnamon-sugar and finished with a drizzle of icing. A sweet and cozy treat perfect for brunch or a snack.

Ingredients

1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

2 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons butter, for cooking

1/4 cup granulated sugar (for coating)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Open the cinnamon roll can and cut each roll into quarters.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Dip each cinnamon roll piece into the egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated.
  4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the bites for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown on all sides.
  5. While still warm, roll the cooked bites in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Drizzle with the included icing and serve immediately.

Notes

Add a pinch of nutmeg or pumpkin spice to the egg mixture for extra warmth.

Top with chopped pecans or whipped cream for a special touch.

Serve with fresh berries for a fruity contrast.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Reheat in a skillet or oven for best texture; microwave in a pinch.
