Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta is a comforting one-pan meal made with tender pasta, seasoned ground beef, and a rich tomato-based creamy sauce. It's hearty, flavorful, and perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)
1/2 cup beef broth or water
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup heavy cream (or whole milk)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and onions are soft.
- Add garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in diced tomatoes with juice and beef broth. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
- Reduce heat and stir in cream cheese until melted. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix until well coated. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
Use whole milk and ground turkey for a lighter version.
Add veggies like spinach, mushrooms, or peas for more nutrition.
Substitute cream cheese with Boursin or mascarpone for extra creaminess.
Add red pepper flakes or spicy sausage for heat.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat with a splash of milk or water.
