Description
These crispy air fryer sliced potatoes are an easy and delicious side dish made with simple ingredients. Golden-brown with crispy edges and fluffy centers, they pair perfectly with any meal or dipping sauce.
Ingredients
1 pound russet potatoes (about 2–3 medium)
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (204°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Scrub the potatoes and pat them dry. Slice into ¼‑inch thick rounds and place in a large bowl.
- Drizzle with olive oil and add smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt. Toss to coat evenly.
- Arrange the slices in the air fryer basket. Slight overlapping is okay.
- Air fry at 400°F for 20–25 minutes, shaking or flipping the slices every 5 minutes.
- Remove once crisp and golden. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or fresh herbs.
Notes
Switch up flavors with parmesan, Italian seasoning, cayenne, or chili flakes.
Yukon gold or red potatoes can be used as substitutes.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Reheat in air fryer at 375°F for about 5 minutes for best results.
Microwaving works but won’t keep them crispy.
