Description
Crispy Cheeseburger Egg Rolls combine everything you love about a cheeseburger—seasoned beef, melty cheese, and onion—wrapped in a crunchy, golden egg roll. Perfect as an appetizer, snack, or fun dinner idea.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)
10–12 egg roll wrappers
1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
Optional for serving: ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- Mix in shredded cheese until melted and well combined.
- Place 2–3 tablespoons of filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold in the sides and roll tightly, sealing the edge with beaten egg.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry egg rolls in batches for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm with dipping sauces.
Notes
Add diced pickles or jalapeños for extra flavor.
Try different cheeses like pepper jack or mozzarella for variety.
For a lighter version, bake at 400°F for 15–18 minutes, flipping once.
To reheat, use an oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
Can be frozen before or after cooking for make-ahead convenience.
