Description

Crispy Cheeseburger Egg Rolls combine everything you love about a cheeseburger—seasoned beef, melty cheese, and onion—wrapped in a crunchy, golden egg roll. Perfect as an appetizer, snack, or fun dinner idea.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)

1012 egg roll wrappers

1 egg, beaten (for sealing)

Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

Optional for serving: ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
  3. Mix in shredded cheese until melted and well combined.
  4. Place 2–3 tablespoons of filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold in the sides and roll tightly, sealing the edge with beaten egg.
  5. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry egg rolls in batches for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with dipping sauces.

Notes

Add diced pickles or jalapeños for extra flavor.

Try different cheeses like pepper jack or mozzarella for variety.

For a lighter version, bake at 400°F for 15–18 minutes, flipping once.

To reheat, use an oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness.

Can be frozen before or after cooking for make-ahead convenience.
