Ingredients
2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
3 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear steak cubes in batches for 1–2 minutes per side, just until browned.
- Transfer seared steak bites to the crockpot.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour the garlic-butter sauce over the steak bites and stir gently to coat.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or on HIGH for 2–3 hours, until the steak is fork-tender.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Do not overcook steak during searing—just brown the outside.
Sirloin can be substituted with chuck roast or ribeye.
For extra smokiness, add more smoked paprika or a dash of liquid smoke.
Great served over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or low-carb sides like cauliflower mash.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze up to 3 months.
