Cupid’s Cloud Strawberry Dessert is a no-bake, creamy treat made with layers of crushed cookies or graham crackers, a fluffy cheesecake filling, and strawberries tossed in jam and lemon juice. Light and elegant, it’s perfect for romantic occasions or easy entertaining.
Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 lb strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 tablespoon strawberry jam
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Crushed graham crackers or vanilla cookies, for layering
Fresh mint or extra berries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and beat until creamy.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with granulated sugar until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and fluffy.
- In another bowl, combine sliced strawberries with strawberry jam and lemon juice; toss to coat evenly.
- Layer crushed graham crackers or cookies at the bottom of each glass or dessert jar.
- Add a layer of cheesecake filling, then a layer of strawberries.
- Repeat the layers as desired, ending with a layer of cheesecake filling and a few strawberries on top.
- Chill the desserts for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Garnish with fresh mint or extra berries if desired.
Notes
Can be made a day ahead for best flavor and texture.
Use any mild-flavored cookie such as vanilla wafers or ladyfingers.
Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 2 days.
Do not freeze, as the texture will not hold up.
