Description

Cupid’s Cloud Strawberry Dessert is a no-bake, creamy treat made with layers of crushed cookies or graham crackers, a fluffy cheesecake filling, and strawberries tossed in jam and lemon juice. Light and elegant, it’s perfect for romantic occasions or easy entertaining.


Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 lb strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 tablespoon strawberry jam

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Crushed graham crackers or vanilla cookies, for layering

Fresh mint or extra berries for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and beat until creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with granulated sugar until soft peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and fluffy.
  5. In another bowl, combine sliced strawberries with strawberry jam and lemon juice; toss to coat evenly.
  6. Layer crushed graham crackers or cookies at the bottom of each glass or dessert jar.
  7. Add a layer of cheesecake filling, then a layer of strawberries.
  8. Repeat the layers as desired, ending with a layer of cheesecake filling and a few strawberries on top.
  9. Chill the desserts for at least 1 hour before serving.
  10. Garnish with fresh mint or extra berries if desired.

Notes

Can be made a day ahead for best flavor and texture.

Use any mild-flavored cookie such as vanilla wafers or ladyfingers.

Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Do not freeze, as the texture will not hold up.
