Description

This Dolly Parton-inspired 5-Ingredient Casserole is a hearty, comforting dish made with tender chicken, creamy soup, crispy hashbrowns, and melted cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 can (15 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1 bag (28 oz) frozen hashbrowns

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and hashbrowns. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish and spread it evenly.
  4. Top with the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly, and the cheese is melted and golden brown.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute the chicken with plant-based protein such as tofu or lentils.
