Description

These easy shredded rotisserie chicken sliders are a quick and flavorful option for weeknight dinners, game days, or casual gatherings. Tender chicken is coated in a creamy, tangy sauce and served on soft slider buns, ready in just 15 minutes.


Ingredients

1 rotisserie chicken, shredded

12 slider buns

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Shred the rotisserie chicken using two forks or your hands.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Add the shredded chicken to the sauce and stir until fully coated.
  4. Slice the slider buns in half and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  5. Spoon the chicken mixture onto the bottom halves of the buns, then place the top halves on.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
  7. Serve immediately, or warm in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5–10 minutes for a toasty finish.

Notes

For a cheesy twist, add shredded cheddar or Swiss cheese before baking.

Swap honey with maple syrup for a richer sweetness.

Stir in sriracha or hot sauce for a spicy version.

Add coleslaw for extra crunch.

Store chicken mixture separately from buns for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
