Ingredients
1 loaf bread, cubed
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Place the cubed bread evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread cubes, ensuring all pieces are lightly coated.
- Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to allow the bread to absorb the custard.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the top is golden and the center is set.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
Notes

Add berries, bananas, or chocolate chips for variation.
Top with nuts for added texture.
Serve with maple syrup or powdered sugar for extra sweetness.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat in the microwave or oven until warmed through.
Can be assembled ahead and refrigerated overnight before baking.
