Ingredients

12 jumbo pasta shells

2 tablespoons butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the jumbo shells according to package instructions, drain, and set them aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the shredded chicken to the skillet and stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup of mozzarella, salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce becomes creamy.
  5. Stuff each pasta shell with the chicken Alfredo mixture and place them in a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  6. Pour any remaining Alfredo sauce over the stuffed shells, then sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired before serving.

Notes

Vegetarian Version: Swap the chicken for sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or zucchini.

Spicy Kick: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter sauce for extra heat.

Cheese Variation: Use Pecorino Romano instead of Parmesan or add ricotta for a creamier texture.

Freezing Tip: Assemble the dish, freeze before baking, and bake it later after thawing.
