Description
These no-bake strawberry cheesecake protein balls are a healthy, high-protein snack made with almond flour, protein powder, and real freeze-dried strawberries. They're creamy, naturally sweetened, and perfect for on-the-go energy or post-workout fuel.
Ingredients
1 cup almond flour
1/4 cup vanilla protein powder
2 tablespoons coconut flour
2 tablespoons powdered freeze-dried strawberries
3 tablespoons cream cheese (softened)
3 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
2–3 tablespoons milk of choice (as needed for texture)
Optional: extra crushed freeze-dried strawberries for rolling
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, protein powder, coconut flour, and powdered freeze-dried strawberries.
- Add softened cream cheese, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Mix until a dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add milk one tablespoon at a time until soft and workable.
- Roll the dough into small bite-sized balls, about one tablespoon each.
- Optional: Roll each ball in extra crushed freeze-dried strawberries for extra flavor and color.
- Place the protein balls on a tray or plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Store any extras in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
Use dairy-free cream cheese and plant-based milk for a vegan version.
Greek yogurt can be used instead of cream cheese for a tangier flavor.
Mini dark chocolate chips make a great addition for a chocolate-strawberry twist.
Oat flour or cashew flour can replace almond flour if needed.
Best enjoyed chilled, straight from the fridge.
