Description

This homemade peach ice cream captures the sweet, juicy essence of ripe peaches with a creamy, silky texture. Perfect for hot summer days, it's easy to make and a delightful treat.


Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, peeled and chopped

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup whole milk

3/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Puree the chopped peaches in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Once the mixture is warm (but not boiling), remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Stir in the peach puree, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt, mixing until fully combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions (about 20-25 minutes).
  6. Once the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency, transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  7. Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy!

Notes
