Description

A rich, creamy last-minute chocolate fudge made with pantry staples that comes together in minutes and sets perfectly for gifting, parties, or quick chocolate cravings.

Ingredients

24 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (about 4 cups)

28 oz sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup unsalted butter

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
  3. Microwave in 1-minute intervals, stirring well after each interval, until fully melted and smooth (about 4 minutes total).
  4. Stir in vanilla extract and about 1 cup of nuts if using.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle remaining nuts on top if desired.
  7. Refrigerate until fully set, then lift out and cut into small squares.

Notes

No candy thermometer is required for this recipe.

Can be made nut-free by omitting nuts.

Use parchment paper for easy removal and clean slicing.

Let sit at room temperature briefly for a softer texture before serving.
