Description

These Pumpkin Pie Crescents are a quick and easy fall dessert featuring a creamy spiced pumpkin filling wrapped in flaky crescent dough. Perfect for holiday gatherings or a cozy treat, they deliver classic pumpkin pie flavor in a fun, bite-sized form.


Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Optional: glaze (powdered sugar + milk)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix pumpkin puree, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  4. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll each triangle from the wide end to the tip, keeping the filling tucked inside.
  6. Place crescents on the baking sheet with the pointed end down.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with glaze if desired.

Notes

Don't overfill the crescents to prevent leaking during baking.

Add mini chocolate chips or chopped pecans for extra flavor.

Fold in a spoonful of cream cheese to the filling for a creamier texture.

Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for a festive touch.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven for best texture.
