Fudgy, rich, and loaded with peanut butter goodness, these Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Brownies transform a simple boxed brownie mix into a decadent treat packed with swirls of creamy peanut butter and chunks of mini Reese’s cups.
Ingredients
1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, halved
Optional: extra peanut butter cups for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the brownie mix instructions (typically between 325°F and 350°F).
- Line an 8x8-inch or 9x9-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the brownie batter as instructed on the box.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter over the batter and swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Sprinkle half of the halved mini Reese’s cups on top of the batter.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the top and spread to cover.
- Repeat the peanut butter swirl and sprinkle the remaining Reese’s cup halves on top.
- Bake according to package directions, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing for cleaner cuts.
