Description

A refreshing, nutrient-dense green juice made with hydrating fruits and vegetables like cucumber, celery, green apple, spinach, and fresh herbs. Perfect for a morning boost or post-workout refreshment.

Ingredients

1 large cucumber, chopped

4 celery stalks, chopped

1 green apple, cored and chopped

1/2 lemon, peeled

1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled

1 cup spinach leaves

1/2 cup fresh parsley

1/2 cup water (optional, for blending)

Instructions

  1. Wash and prepare all the fruits and vegetables.
  2. If using a juicer, process each ingredient one at a time until smooth.
  3. If using a blender, combine all ingredients (including water) and blend on high until smooth.
  4. Strain the mixture using a fine-mesh strainer, nut milk bag, or cheesecloth to remove the pulp.
  5. Serve immediately over ice or store in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator.

Notes

Substitute spinach with kale or parsley with mint for a flavor variation.

Add pear, extra apple, or pineapple for a sweeter twist.

Best consumed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Shake well if juice separates in the fridge.

Ideal to drink on an empty stomach for better nutrient absorption.
