These Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers are a healthy twist on the classic burger, featuring lean turkey, fresh spinach, and tangy feta cheese for a flavorful, satisfying meal.
Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup spinach, chopped
1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped spinach, crumbled feta, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
 - Mix everything until well combined. Be careful not to overmix to keep the burgers tender.
 - Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form each portion into a patty.
 - Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
 - Cook the burgers for 5-6 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C), and the burgers are golden brown and cooked through.
 - Serve the burgers on whole wheat buns or lettuce wraps for a lighter option.
 
Notes
Can substitute ground chicken for turkey if preferred.
To make the recipe gluten-free, use gluten-free breadcrumbs or almond meal.
Can grill instead of cooking in a skillet for a different flavor.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
