Description

These Sweetened Condensed Milk Snowball Cookies are a simple yet irresistible treat that will melt in your mouth. With their rich, buttery flavor and soft texture, they're perfect for any occasion. The secret ingredient, sweetened condensed milk, makes these cookies especially rich and moist, while the light dusting of confectioner's sugar gives them that perfect snowy finish.

Ingredients

1 cup softened butter

1 can sweetened condensed milk

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 cup confectioner’s sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Cream the softened butter in a large mixing bowl until it’s nice and smooth.
  2. Gradually add in the sweetened condensed milk, mixing well to combine the two ingredients.
  3. Sift in the flour and baking powder, then stir everything together until you have a soft dough.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Scoop small amounts of dough and roll them into balls, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes or until they are slightly golden on the edges.
  7. Let the cookies cool slightly before dusting them with confectioner's sugar for a snowy finish.

Notes

For nutty snowballs, add chopped pecans or walnuts into the dough.

For a chocolate twist, drizzle melted chocolate chips over the cooled cookies.

Try adding a teaspoon of vanilla or almond extract for a different flavor.

Store in an airtight container for 4-5 days at room temperature or up to a week in the fridge.

Freeze the dough or baked cookies for up to 2 months for longer storage.
