Description

Watermelon Twirl Bites are refreshing and vibrant snacks made with juicy watermelon cubes marinated in citrusy sparkling juice, garnished with lime zest, salt, and optional mint for a fun and flavorful summer treat.


Ingredients

1 medium seedless watermelon, cut into 1-inch cubes

1/2 cup sparkling white grape juice (or apple juice)

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

1 tablespoon lime zest

Coarse sea salt, for garnish

Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Place the watermelon cubes in a large shallow dish.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the sparkling juice and fresh lime juice.
  3. Pour the citrusy mixture over the watermelon and gently toss to coat all the pieces evenly.
  4. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to infuse.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle with lime zest and a pinch of coarse sea salt.
  6. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired and serve chilled with toothpicks.
