Description

This fresh Apple Grape Salad combines crisp apples, juicy grapes, crunchy toasted pecans, and a lightly sweet cinnamon-honey dressing. It's a quick, colorful dish that's perfect for breakfast, a healthy snack, or a refreshing side.

Ingredients

3 medium apples, diced

2 cups red grapes, halved

1 cup pecans or walnuts, toasted and chopped

3 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Toast the pecans or walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3–5 minutes until fragrant and lightly browned. Let cool, then chop.
  2. Dice the apples into bite-sized pieces and immediately toss with the fresh lemon juice to prevent browning.
  3. Place the apples and halved grapes into a large mixing bowl.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, ground cinnamon, and sea salt until smooth.
  5. Pour the dressing over the fruit and add the toasted nuts.
  6. Gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
  7. Serve immediately or chill for up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Use Honeycrisp, Gala, Fuji, or Pink Lady apples for the best texture.

Swap pecans with walnuts, sliced almonds, or pistachios if desired.

Add dried cranberries, raisins, blueberries, or strawberries for extra flavor and color.

Stir in a spoonful of Greek yogurt for a creamy variation.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Serve chilled; reheating is not recommended.
