Ingredients
12 squares refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough or sugar cookie dough
1/2 cup chocolate icing or cream cheese icing
2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking tray with parchment or wax paper.
- Roll the cookie dough out to about 1/4-inch thickness.
- Place the rolled dough in the freezer for 10 minutes to firm up.
- Cut the chilled dough into shapes using cookie cutters, or slice into triangles or rectangles.
- Bake for 5 to 6 minutes, until the edges turn lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the tray for a few minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
- Prepare the icing in a small bowl and mix in mini chocolate chips if desired.
- Serve the cookies as dippers alongside the icing.
