Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth and fully combined.
- Add the flour and salt, then mix gently until a soft cookie dough forms.
