Ingredients
1 baguette, sliced
4 ripe tomatoes, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1 garlic clove, halved (for rubbing the bread)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast for 6 to 8 minutes until golden and crisp.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper.
