⅓ cup (80 g) cranberry sauce
1 tablespoon roughly chopped walnuts
2 sprigs rosemary, leaves picked
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220 °C (425 °F) or 200 °C (400 °F) fan-forced. Spray a mini muffin pan with cooking oil spray.
- Cut the puff pastry into 16 even squares.
- Press each puff pastry square into the holes of the prepared mini muffin pan.
- Place one cube of brie in each pastry cup, then top each with about ½ teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is puffed up and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Sprinkle each bite with chopped walnuts and fresh rosemary before serving.
Notes
Try fig or apricot jam instead of cranberry for a flavor twist.
Swap brie with camembert for a deeper, earthier flavor.
Use toasted pumpkin seeds for a nut-free version.
Add a sprinkle of orange zest before baking for extra holiday flair.
Assemble ahead and refrigerate before baking for convenience.
