Description

A rich and creamy no-bake dessert with a crunchy Oreo crust, peanut butter cheesecake-style filling, chocolate pudding, and fluffy whipped topping. Perfect for parties, potlucks, and warm-weather celebrations.

Ingredients

Oreo cookie crumbs

Melted butter

Cream cheese, softened

Powdered sugar

Creamy peanut butter

Vanilla extract

Whipped topping

Instant chocolate pudding mix

Cold milk

Mini chocolate chips

Chocolate syrup, optional

Instructions

  1. Combine the Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press firmly into the bottom of a baking dish to form an even crust.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, creamy peanut butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold half of the whipped topping into the peanut butter mixture. Spread evenly over the Oreo crust.
  4. Whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until it begins to thicken. Let it rest for a few minutes until thick and spreadable.
  5. Spoon the chocolate pudding over the peanut butter layer and carefully spread it into an even layer.
  6. Spread the remaining whipped topping evenly over the pudding layer.
  7. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the top and drizzle with chocolate syrup, if desired.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until the layers are firm. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

Crunchy peanut butter can replace creamy peanut butter for additional texture.

Try peanut butter-flavored or other chocolate sandwich cookies in place of regular Oreos.

Chopped peanut butter cups, roasted peanuts, chocolate curls, or crushed Oreos make excellent toppings.

Vanilla, cheesecake, or white chocolate instant pudding can replace the chocolate pudding for a different flavor.

For the cleanest slices, chill the dessert overnight before serving.

Store covered in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.

Individual portions can be frozen in airtight containers and thawed in the refrigerator before serving, although the pudding and whipped topping may soften slightly.
