Ingredients
12 lasagna noodles
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 lb lump crab meat
3 cups Alfredo sauce
15 oz ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and shrimp and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink.
- Stir in the lump crab meat and lemon juice, then remove the seafood mixture from the heat.
- In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce over the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer lasagna noodles, ricotta mixture, seafood mixture, Alfredo sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
Substitute part of the shrimp with scallops for a more luxurious seafood blend.
Add crushed red pepper flakes to the Alfredo sauce for a touch of heat.
Mix spinach into the ricotta filling for extra flavor and color.
