Ingredients
1 box of vanilla cake mix
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan with non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the vanilla cake mix, water, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well-combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the pureed strawberries into the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
- Carefully spoon the cheesecake mixture over the cake batter, spreading it evenly.
- Pour the remaining cake batter over the cheesecake layer.
- Use a butter knife to swirl the two batters together, creating a marbled effect.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, dust the top of the cake with powdered sugar.
