Description

Juicy, pan-seared steak bites coated in a rich garlic butter Parmesan cream sauce. This quick and comforting one-pan dish is perfect for weeknights or special occasions, offering bold flavor and a creamy finish.

Ingredients

pounds sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon cream cheese

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (plus more for garnish)

Optional: red pepper flakes, to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels and season them generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak cubes in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes without moving, then flip and cook for another 2–3 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and melt the butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and Italian seasoning, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cream cheese, whisking until the sauce is smooth and creamy, about 3–5 minutes.
  5. Return the steak bites to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce. Let simmer for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes, if using. Serve hot.

Notes

Use a tender cut of steak like ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon for best results.

Don’t overcrowd the skillet when searing the steak bites—cook in batches if needed.

The sauce thickens as it cools, so serve immediately or reheat gently with a splash of cream or broth.

Great served with mashed potatoes, pasta, rice, or roasted vegetables.
