Ingredients
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
4 large egg yolks
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions

Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar.
- Press mixture into a greased 9x9-inch baking pan.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden. Let cool.

Make the Custard:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together milk, heavy cream, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk egg yolks and flour until smooth.
- Gradually add some of the hot milk mixture to the eggs while whisking to temper them.
- Pour the tempered egg mixture back into the saucepan, whisking constantly.
- Cook over medium heat, whisking until thickened and bubbling. Boil for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

Assemble and Chill:
- Let the custard cool slightly, then pour it over the cooled crust.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until fully set.

- Before serving, dust with powdered sugar.
- Slice into squares and enjoy!
Notes
For smooth custard, whisk constantly and temper the egg mixture properly.
For clean slices, use a sharp knife and wipe it between cuts.
Best served chilled, but can be left at room temperature for 15 minutes if desired.
