These Pineapple Strawberry Swirled Slushies are bright, fruity, and extra refreshing. I blend sweet pineapple and juicy strawberries separately, then swirl them together for a colorful frozen drink that feels perfect on a warm day.

Pineapple Strawberry Swirled Slushies

Ingredients

(Tip: You'll find the full list of ingredients and measurements in the recipe card below.)

2 cups frozen pineapple chunks

1 cup pineapple juice or water

1 tablespoon honey, optional

2 cups frozen strawberries

1 cup strawberry juice or water

1 tablespoon honey, optional

Directions

I blend the frozen pineapple chunks with pineapple juice or water and honey until the mixture is smooth and thick. I add a little more liquid only when needed.

I pour the pineapple slush into a bowl and set it aside.

I rinse the blender, then blend the frozen strawberries with strawberry juice or water and honey until smooth and thick.

I spoon the pineapple and strawberry slush into tall glasses in alternating layers.

I gently swirl the layers with a spoon or straw to create a marbled look.

I serve the slushies immediately while they are frozen and refreshing.

Servings and timing

Variations

I sometimes use coconut water instead of juice for a lighter flavor. I also like adding a squeeze of lime juice for a brighter taste. For a creamier version, I blend in a splash of coconut milk with either fruit layer.

Storage/Reheating

I like serving these slushies right away because the texture is best when freshly blended. If I have leftovers, I freeze them in an airtight container and re-blend with a splash of juice or water before serving.

Reheating is not needed for this frozen drink.

FAQs

Can I make these slushies without honey?

Yes, I can skip the honey if the fruit is already sweet enough.

Can I use fresh fruit instead of frozen fruit?

Yes, but I prefer freezing the fruit first so the slushies stay thick and icy.

Can I make this recipe vegan?

Yes, I use maple syrup, agave, or no sweetener instead of honey.

Can I prepare this ahead of time?

I can blend the layers ahead and freeze them, then re-blend before serving for the best texture.

How do I make the swirl look better?

I layer the two slushies gently, then swirl only a little so the colors stay separated and marbled.

Conclusion

These Pineapple Strawberry Swirled Slushies are easy, colorful, and refreshing. I love making them when I want a quick frozen drink with tropical pineapple flavor, sweet strawberries, and a fun swirled finish.
