Description

A smooth and refreshing coffeehouse-style drink made with bold espresso, brown sugar, cinnamon, and creamy oat milk. Shaken over ice for a light, frothy texture, it is the perfect homemade café treat.

Ingredients

2 shots espresso

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup oat milk

1 cup ice cubes

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Brew the espresso shots and pour them into a shaker or a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  2. Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and ice cubes.
  3. Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds until the mixture is chilled and frothy.
  4. Fill a serving glass with fresh ice.
  5. Pour the shaken espresso mixture into the glass.
  6. Top with oat milk and stir gently before serving.

Notes

Substitute maple syrup for brown sugar for a different sweetness profile.

Add a pinch of nutmeg or pumpkin spice for extra warmth.

Use almond, soy, or coconut milk instead of oat milk if preferred.

Add an extra shot of espresso for a stronger coffee flavor.

Best enjoyed immediately after preparation for maximum frothiness.

Store the espresso mixture refrigerated for up to 24 hours and add fresh ice and oat milk before serving.
